At least if you live in Japan anyway. DOA5 has been given a September 26th release date, and it seems that there will also be offering a Collector’s Edition, with “Sexy Costume” DLC. Say whaaaaat?
The standard edition will cost 8,190 yen including tax while the Collector’s Edition will be 11,340 yen including tax. The Collector’s Edition will include:
- Limited Edition game software “DEAD OR ALIVE 5”
- Official Visual Book
- Original Soundtrack CD
- 8 DOA character postcards
- 10 character metal plates
- Code for 12 “premium sexy costumes”
The first print of the game will also include a DLC code for another “sexy costume” for Ayane and Kasumi, this is different from the 12 included in the Collector’s Edition and will be as purchaseable DLC after the release. At this stage there’s no word or whether this edition will be available outside of Japan yet.

E3 Trailer
A new trailer for the game was also demoed at E3, which officially confirms that Sarah Bryant from SEGA’s Virtua Fighter is in the game.
